God instilled a desire to launch a classical school in the hearts of several mothers passionate about quality, Christian education.

Veritas Academy prayerfully came into existence in 2014 when several Cody, Wyoming mothers gathered together to contemplate their children’s education. Feeling burdened to offer their children a Christian education, God led them to launch a new school through the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS).

The school’s first two years offered a kindergarten and 4th grade curriculum taught by parents of students. In only four years, God grew the school from four to 28 students, at which point Veritas was able to offer Pre-K through 5th grade programs. By the Fall of 2023, Veritas enrolled 74 students and launched a high school program.

Governed by a Board consisting of parents and community members, Veritas has always prided itself in offering a God-honoring, classical curriculum. A strong partnership with families keeps Veritas Academy functioning and cost effective without compromising the integrity of the mission and vision.

Had not the humble seeds been sown by obedient mothers back in 2014, Veritas Academy would not have been able to grow from a parent-teacher model to having a highly qualified and dedicated staff serving all students.
